Program Modules
1. Chinese Language Course
Intensive Chinese language courses that will significantly improve your communication skills needed to function efficiently and effectively in social settings. The four language skills -listening, speaking, reading, and writing - are taught in a friendly and positive Chinese-speaking environment, including the extensive use of textbooks and audio-visual materials.
Four skill levels are offered
- Elementary level
- Beginners’ level
- Intermediate level
- Advanced level
* 10 students min for each level.
2. Chinese Culture Immersion

-Field trip
Explore the traditional and modern glamour of Shanghai by tour to Songjiang Film Park, Yuyuan Garden, Chenghuang Temple, Huangpu River Cruise, The Bund, Tianzifang.
Extra tours (one-day tour to Zhujiajiao, one-day tour to Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, M50 Artist Zone) (not covered by the tuition fee) are offered when applications from at least 10 students are received.
3. Community Immersion
Cross-cultural exchange activity with SUFE students
Join ballroom dancing & People's Square marriage market
4. HSK Test
HSK test in SUFE HSK test center at the end of the program and certificate granted.
HSK Level 2/3/4 tests are offered when applications from at least 10 students are received.
*HSK test fee is not included in the tuition.

Two participants will share a comfortable twin room on campus. Located in Zhongshan Beiyi Road Campus, the dormitory building is only 3 minutes’ walk from the nearest metro station (Line 3) and 15 minutes’ walk from Hongkou Plaza.
