STUDY PLAN IN CHINA
Three elements collectively prompted a fervent introspection for a passion drove career trajectory that showed to unfold rather gradually and enigmatically. Ultimately, my inveterate objective: an eagerness to practically utilise theoretical concepts in remedying problems confronting humanity. I plan to achieve this by making intriguing and critical research in my areas of interests and to increase productivity through quality work and paradigm shift. Forthrightly, I settled on a career capable of instructing and understanding human behaviour, social sciences, and theoretical application yet unable to pin down a speciality.
Finally, one particular hypothesis proved crucial and supreme in my choice of a career in the economic sector. I observed while reviewing the economic state of Ghana to that of other developed countries like China, UK and USA. So, I deduced that the Ghanaian economy is in an unstable state. It is conceivable because virtually no attention was paid to its curriculum since the country hitherto had not ever considered targeting the economic state in its history. Surely, this career path explicitly incorporates the aforementioned triad perfectly: I can apply my Economics towards the management of the economy while instructing future economists and statisticians. My professional ambition is to magnate and a top-notch upstream Economist while harbouring avenues for award-winning research opportunities to ameliorate working conditions and procedures towards a doctorate.
Again, recent Chinese Government scholars’ testimonies about their stay in Shanghai intrigue me in wanting to school at Shanghai University. I hinted some reasons for choosing my course and school - excellent faculty and innovative course delivery, Shanghai Universities makes you come out with what you think about a concept not just learning and following what is written in books.
Nonetheless, I reckon the increasing difficulty in acquiring the requisite skills and understand without being properly schooled through it in an organised pattern, as in academia, especially in an age where technology is the predominant avenue of advancement and is accelerating very swiftly. The industrial world cannot be trifled with in this vastly growing competitive era. Strengths that I will bring to my abroad experience include exemplary leadership and social skills, refined through my service to Ghana Revenue Authority and the University of Cape Coast, College of Distance Education, Department of Quality Assurance and Enhancement. Numerous leadership and positions at its club, district and academic levels have trained me to unearth creative solutions to challenges, organise my experience in the community for the purpose of both engagement and reflection, and socially navigate among diverse personalities and power differences. These traits will allow me to succeed in different situations while studying abroad. Because of the passion I have to see Ghana enjoy stable economy, this plan would be of immense and immediate benefit to her in ensuring better economic and living standards. Within this period also, I will strive to build increased proficiency and professionalism in my chosen field of endeavour.
After years of practising and gaining professional expertise in my master degree, I would like to devote myself to my country in the field of foreign policy, economic stability and democracy. As far as I am concerned, foreign policy, economic issues and justice are always interesting to be analysed since my country, Ghana, use democracy approach after we had a reformation era in 1957. I have chosen this university because I believe it has the best suited course to my educational desires.

I want to study in China because I think they have the best financial capabilities in the world and to be able to be educated by a Chinese University will certainly put me a step ahead of my peers. More importantly I would like to learn about the culture and the language as I believe their ways of running a country and the way to treat people is a way I have much respect for.
