Overview

This degree course, started since 2000, is developed with specialized training on general and business Chinese and offers business related modules on economics and management theory. It enables the students a high level of fluency, accuracy and confidence in the Chinese language, well awareness of China’s economy and economic policies, practical skills in communication, translation, interpretation and writing for business issues.

Students need to obtain 152 credits in total, of which 127 for in-class courses and 25 for community immersion, computer skill test and thesis.

1. Chinese visa/residence permit
For those living in the Chinese mainland at the time of application.
2. Certificates of your foreign nationality
(if you have acquired foreign nationality by birth but have studied at primary and secondary schools in China and have at least one parent who is Chinese, or have immigrated from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan to another country)
You need to upload the foreign passport(s) you have held, proof of entry-exit and stay (residency) in China (Chinese mainland, Macao, Taiwan, Hong Kong) in the past four years (April 30, 2020 – April 30, 2024).
*3. One reference letter
The letter should be recent, dated, in English/Chinese, and with referee's contact details (employer, position, email, phone number).
*4. Foreigner's Physical Examination Report
The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the “Foreigner Physical Examination Form”Foreigner Physical Examination Form.pdf The form you submit must:
Include with the signature of the attending physicians
Include with the official stamp of the hospital
Include with a sealed photograph of the applicant
Be written in English, and
Be dated within the last 6 months.
Please keep the original reports with you for later use when you register at the University.

*5. Police Clearance Certificate
Please go to your local police authority where you reside, request that the police conduct a local or state criminal records search and provide you with a document reflecting that there is no history of a criminal record. The Police Clearance Certificate should be dated within the last 6 months. If you are unable to maintain such a document due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact Admission Office as early as possible for alternative documentation.

*9. Photo
Please use the ID photo taken within the last 6 months. The head in the photograph must be facing the camera straight on, and the face may not be obscured. The photo itself must be in color, but the background needs to be white or blue. Head coverings are prohibited.
*10. High school academic transcript
You need to apply with academic transcript for all the courses taken from high school grade one. It would be appreciated that the transcript is attached with a clarification on the grading system and how your GPA is calculated.
Certified English/Chinese translations are required if the original documents are neither in English nor in Chinese.
*11. High school diploma
If you are in the final year, please upload a certificate indicating the entry and the expected completion date.

*12. Personal statement
It should be written in Chinese, 800-1000 words including the applicant's education (and working experience, if applicable), study plan, etc. and enclosed with the applicant's signature.
*13. Guarantee of Financial Support
Your program application will not be processed without a funding documentation.
Your personal sponsor should be able to provide full financial support for your educational and living expenses for the entire length of study at SUFE. Ask your personal sponsor to complete the appropriate sections of the form Guarantee of Financial Support.pdf and provide a scanned copy of his/her passport, or ID card of the sponsor is of Chinese nationality.
The form you submit must:

*14. CSCA Test Transcript(s)
-You need to take the official CSCA test organized by the Chinese government and submit the corresponding subject result transcript(s) when applying. Learn more about the CSCA test >>
-The test covers Chinese (Humanities and STEM Chinese), Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Mathematics is required for all programs, while other subjects depend on the university’s specific requirements.

Tips: For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit.
